This winter, the Our Lady of Talpa School community took part in a Walk-A-Thon. Talpa’s VMY organized the event, which raised just over $2,100 for The Pregnancy Help Center of San Gabriel Valley. The Walk-A-Thon coincided with Catholic Schools’ Week, and was a great way for the entire Talpa family to join together to help make a difference in our community.

Prior to the event, students collected per-lap pledges and flat-rate donations from family members and friends. Then, on the day of the Walk-A-Thon, TK-8th grade students, faculty and staff walked, jogged and ran around the school playground. The Talpa spirit was in full force!
