Dear Talpa Family,

I hope you and your families are doing well during this storm. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel school for tomorrow, Monday August 21st. Unfortunately, the worst of the storm will hit late tonight and we will not be able to assess the school’s safety until tomorrow morning. Therefore, we are canceling school tomorrow to give you as much time as possible to make plans for childcare. We fully anticipate reopening the following day, Tuesday, August 22nd. 

Espero que ustedes y sus familias estén bien durante esta tormenta. Por precaución, hemos decidido cancelar la escuela para mañana, lunes 21 de agosto. Desafortunadamente, lo peor de la tormenta llegará tarde esta noche y no podremos evaluar la seguridad de la escuela hasta mañana por la mañana. Por lo tanto, cancelaremos la escuela mañana para darle el mayor tiempo posible para hacer planes para el cuidado de los niños. Anticipamos completamente la reapertura al día siguiente, martes 22 de agosto.
